Happy New Year 2021

The new year has begun and so have the lockdowns. Hopefully, the virus will be controlled with the new vaccines and more lives can be saved this year.

This week I saw the tv series "American Genius" and the episode on Hearst versus Pulitzer. The story was amazing about these two powerful newspaper giants. It was great to see the passion of these two men and what inspired them to build their own newspaper empires. Both men were from two very different backgrounds, Pulitzer was a Hungarian immigrant, while Hearst was the son of a millionaire. Yet, their efforts in publishing made a tremendous impact on the media industry of the present.
